About the Role

The Business Process Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the vision and strategy of our Business Unit. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing innovative business processes to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities that align with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Measuring success to ensure business benefits are realized.

Required Experience

Minimum Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in processing systems and procedures.
  • Proven expertise in data analytics and business process improvement.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, TOC, and Agile methodologies.

Ideal Experience:

  • 3+ years in a similar environment.
  • Experience with strategic business case development.
  • Leadership and management experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in General Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A post-graduate qualification in Engineering or Information Technology.

Knowledge Requirements

Minimum Knowledge:

  • Understanding Lean principles and business change life cycle.
  • Familiarity with system development and project management life cycles.
  • Knowledge of quality management and risk management.

Ideal Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of banking processes and systems.
  • Familiarity with Capitec products and services.
  • Experience with data analysis and trend analysis.

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Facilitation and negotiation skills.

Conditions of Employment
