Position Details:

  • Minimum Qualification: Matric Certificate

Job Purpose:
Provide financial support services to ensure efficient accounting operations within the department.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Accounting/Financial Management qualification (completed or in progress)
  • Valid Code B driver’s license (exceptions considered for applicants with disabilities)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process financial transactions and maintain accounting records
  • Provide salary administration support
  • Perform bookkeeping and administrative tasks

Required Competencies:

  • Understanding of financial systems (BAS, PERSAL, LOGIS)
  • Knowledge of public finance regulations (PFMA, Treasury Regulations)
  • Strong numerical and computer skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in team environments
