Role Purpose

Support regional library operations by assisting the regional librarian in delivering services to public libraries across the Western Cape.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid Code B driver’s license (or higher)
  • Note: Applicants with disabilities affecting driving ability may apply if alternative transport is available

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in library environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to regional library operations
  • Manage asset control systems
  • Assist with personnel administration
  • Support financial management processes

Required Competencies

  • Proficiency in Library Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Strong organizational and clerical skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Team collaboration skills
