Role Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Director: eNaTIS Support Centre to provide key administrative support for the Provincial Support Centre of eNaTIS. As an Administrative Officer, you will be expected to handle administrative duties related to the eNaTIS system, including software, hardware, and network calls, as well as assisting in the rollout of new software releases and the relocation of NaTIS sites.

This is a fast-paced position where meeting tight deadlines and performing under pressure are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • eNaTIS Support: Handle hardware, software, and network calls related to the eNaTIS system and driving license enrolment units.
  • Software Management: Administer the rollout of new eNaTIS software releases and provide support to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Asset Management: Update and maintain the NaTIS asset register to ensure accurate tracking and management.
  • Site Establishment & Relocation: Assist in the establishment and relocation of NaTIS sites, ensuring all operational requirements are met.

Minimum Requirements

  • A 3-year National Diploma or B-degree (or equivalent qualification).
  • At least 1 year of administrative support experience in an eNaTIS Support Centre working environment.

Competencies and Skills

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of:

  • National Road Traffic Act (1996) and the National Road Traffic Regulations (2000).
  • eNaTIS system and eNaTIS Security Policy.
  • General office administration and database management.
  • Project management, financial administration, and procurement processes.
  • Customer service, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical proficiency and computer literacy (MS Office and relevant administrative software).

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent decision-making capabilities.

Additional Information
