This internship, located within the Financial Management Directorate, provides an excellent platform for recent graduates to gain practical experience in financial management, accounting, and related fields.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who wish to apply for this internship must meet the following requirements:
- A National Diploma, BA Degree, BCom, BTech, Honors, or Masters in Cost & Management Accounting, Financial Management, Accounting, Logistics, Econometrics, or a related field.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years and be South African citizens.
- The program is open to unemployed graduates who have not participated in any previous government internship program.
- Applicants must be residents of Gauteng Province.
- You should have completed your academic theory and be in need of experiential training to complete your qualification.
Internship Responsibilities:
Interns will be tasked with completing a variety of duties related to financial management, including assisting with accounting processes, financial analysis, and budgeting tasks. This role offers hands-on experience and an opportunity to develop skills essential for a career in financial management.
About the Programme:
The Gauteng Office of the Premier is committed to empowering youth and fostering skills development across the province. The 2025 Internship Programme aims to provide recent graduates with a meaningful 24-month internship experience, enabling them to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting. This programme is designed to support graduates who will have completed their undergraduate or postgraduate studies by the end of the 2024 academic year.
