Position Purpose

This apprenticeship program offers hands-on training under the supervision of a qualified Artisan. You will also attend formal classes to gain theoretical knowledge in technical certificate courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare work sites, tools, and materials for job-related tasks.
• Use hand, power, and measuring tools effectively.
• Install, assemble, and maintain electrical equipment and systems.
• Test, inspect, and repair electrical equipment and installations.

Qualifications and Experience

• N2 Subjects: Diesel Trade Theory, Engineering Drawing, Engineering Science, Mathematics (Pure) OR
• N3-N6 Subjects: Mechano-technics, Mathematics (Pure), Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing OR
• NCV Level 4: Fundamentals, English, Mathematics (Pure), Life Orientation, Engineering Process, Professional Engineering Practice, Applied Engineering Technology, Automotive Repairs & Maintenance OR
• Technical Grade 12: Mathematics (Pure), Engineering and Graphic Design, Home Language, First Additional Language, Physical Science, Fitting and Machining, Mechanical Technology (Automotive).
• Age between 18 and 35.
