Position Details

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Qualification: Matric/NQF Level 4
  • Experience: 3+ years post-trade experience
  • Location: Limpopo, South Africa
  • Field: Engineering/Technical

Role Summary

Maintain and repair Venetia Mine’s fleet including underground vehicles, service trucks, loaders, forklifts, and generators through expert electrical maintenance and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems in heavy mining vehicles
  • Address maintenance requests from pre-start reports and breakdown logs
  • Conduct equipment inspections and quality checks
  • Coordinate with supervisors on maintenance schedules
  • Manage spare parts inventory and orders
  • Ensure compliance with Mine Health & Safety regulations

Requirements

  • Essential:
    • Auto Electrical Trade Certification
    • Valid EB/Code 10 Driver’s License
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Land Cruiser electrical systems proficiency
    • Battery/starter maintenance expertise

Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility for overtime/shift work
  • Successful completion of Dover assessments
  • Medical fitness certification (Red Ticket)
  • Clear criminal record verification
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
