Role Purpose

Regulate public transport services and implement legislative requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inquiries per Western Cape Road Transportation Act
  • Address complaints and process allegations
  • Prepare official documents and reports
  • Maintain updated system records
  • Coordinate with minibus taxi industry stakeholders
  • Communicate regulatory decisions to relevant parties

Required Competencies

  • Knowledge of transport legislation/policies
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Familiarity with public service systems/procedures
  • Financial management capabilities
