Experience Required: 5+ years (Management experience in contract catering preferred)
Education: Culinary Diploma / Tertiary Qualification in Related Field
Key Requirements
- Proven track record in managing full-service catering contracts
- Strong culinary skills with retail food service experience
- Demonstrated skills in:
- Financial analysis and budgeting
- Team leadership and performance management
- Quality control and hygiene standards
- Inventory management and cost control
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including meal preparation, presentation, and sanitation
- Manage food costing, menu planning, and stock rotation protocols
- Lead team training programs for service excellence
- Maintain compliance with health/safety regulations and company standards
- Monitor financial performance against budgets
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks
- Handle client relations and service delivery oversight
