Position Details:

  • 🎓 Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Supply Chain Management/Law/Commerce
  • ⏳ Experience: 3+ years in Municipal SCM at Officer Level (7+)

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in municipal supply chain monitoring
  • Strong knowledge of MFMA and SCM regulatory frameworks
  • Experience in policy compliance assessment and municipal systems evaluation

Core Responsibilities:

  • Monitor compliance with SCM regulations across municipalities
  • Evaluate municipal procurement plans and contract management systems
  • Provide technical guidance on SCM policy implementation
  • Conduct municipal capacity assessments and training initiatives
  • Oversee transversal SCM policy development and implementation
  • Manage stakeholder relations and departmental operations
