Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Verify payment claims against contract requirements
- Process invoices using Sage X3 accounting software
- Manage vendor registrations and banking details
- Prepare monthly creditor reconciliations
- Conduct weekly bank statement reconciliations
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain financial records and audit documentation
- Update commitment registers for contracts/payments
- Perform asset verification and tagging procedures
Stakeholder Support
- Resolve internal/external payment queries within 48 hours
- Guide departments on grant administration processes
Requirements
- National Diploma in Accounting (NQF Level 6)
- Proven experience with accounting systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
