Key Responsibilities:
As the Assistant Manager in Demand and Compliance Management, you will be responsible for a range of critical activities aimed at ensuring the efficient functioning of the supply chain. Your role will include overseeing demand management processes, ensuring compliance with supply chain regulations, and managing contract agreements. Specific responsibilities include:
- Demand Management: Developing and implementing strategies to forecast and meet demand requirements.
- Contract Management: Ensuring all contracts are efficiently managed and adhered to in line with organizational needs and compliance standards.
- Bid Process Administration: Coordinating and administering the bid process, ensuring transparency and fairness in supplier selection.
- SCM Registers Management: Overseeing and reporting on Supply Chain Management registers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Secretariat Management: Acting as the secretary for various committees, coordinating meetings, and maintaining comprehensive records.
- Team Support and Development: Providing leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Supply Chain Compliance: Ensuring all activities within the supply chain adhere to internal policies and external regulatory standards.
- Supplier Performance Evaluation: Continuously evaluating supplier performance, ensuring the consistent delivery of quality services and products.
- Reporting: Compiling detailed reports on supply chain activities, performance, and compliance metrics.
Qualifications and Experience:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or a related discipline. You should possess substantial expertise in areas such as procurement, sourcing, demand management, and supply chain compliance.
Additionally, applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role, demonstrating leadership capabilities and the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
