Position Details

Employment Type: Full Time

Required Qualification: Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4)

Experience Required: 3+ years retail experience (management experience preferred)

Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape

Department: Retail Operations – Cellular Division

Key Responsibilities

Stock Control & Merchandising

  • Oversee stock receiving, merchandising, and replenishment processes
  • Conduct regular stock audits and implement loss prevention strategies
  • Manage inventory systems and stockroom organization
  • Process product returns and quality control checks

Sales & Business Growth

  • Analyze sales reports to identify growth opportunities
  • Drive performance in cellular products, insurance sales, and account services
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Implement promotional strategies and in-store marketing initiatives

Store Operations

  • Ensure compliance with operational policies and safety standards
  • Maintain visual merchandising guidelines and store presentation
  • Handle customer service escalations and feedback
  • Manage point-of-sale systems and financial reporting

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor store staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and training sessions
  • Support recruitment and talent development programs

Candidate Requirements

  • Grade 12/NQF Level 4 certification
  • Proven retail experience with understanding of cellular products
  • Strong numerical skills for sales analysis and budgeting
  • Proficient in computer applications and POS systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
