Assistant Store Manager – Mr Price Cellular (Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal)

Position Summary:

Support store management in daily operations to achieve sales targets, maintain service standards, and drive business growth for our cellular division.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock Control:

• Manage inventory processes including receiving, merchandising, and replenishment
• Conduct regular stock counts and loss prevention activities
• Oversee stockroom organization and maintenance

Sales & Profitability:

• Analyze sales reports to identify growth opportunities
• Monitor product performance and market trends
• Drive cellular, mobile, and insurance product sales

Store Operations:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Maintain visual merchandising and customer service standards
• Handle customer feedback and service recovery

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and develop store team members
• Conduct performance reviews and training sessions
• Assist with recruitment and staff scheduling

Requirements:

• Matric certificate (Grade 12/NQF Level 4 equivalent)
• 3+ years retail experience (management experience preferred)
• Proven track record in sales and customer service
• Basic computer literacy and numerical skills
• Knowledge of cellular products and mobile services
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
