Branch Administrator Position: Overview

The role of the Branch Administrator at Helderkruin is an exciting opportunity within the Specialized Services Division. This position entails a diverse range of responsibilities that include administrative tasks, human resources management, and financial oversight. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the branch.

Qualifications and Experience Required

To excel in the position of Branch Administrator, the following qualifications and experience are essential:

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or Matric Certificate.
A tertiary qualification will be considered an advantage.
3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
Payroll knowledge and experience is essential.
SAP experience is advantageous.
Strong financial knowledge is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
No criminal record.
Own reliable transportation is required.
Preference for residents within the West Rand or surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

The Branch Administrator will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities, ensuring all operations within the branch function effectively. Core responsibilities include:

  • Handling all payroll and salary-related matters accurately and efficiently.
  • Managing daily bookings of guards on the Posting Sheet.
  • Oversight of billing and finance functions.
  • Personnel management, including onboarding and terminations.
  • Supporting the Branch Manager with financial actions and operational functions.
  • Managing all branch assets.
  • Taking full responsibility for the Petty Cash System and its submissions.
  • Ensuring timely submission of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for all sites.
  • Serving as a key contact for various departments on branch matters.
  • Performing typical office duties such as answering calls, responding to emails, and filing.
  • Implementing and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Managing schedules for all administrative functions.
  • Facilitating the smooth flow of information within the branch for effective operations.
  • Coordinating and ensuring compliance with branch regulations.
  • Assisting with audit compliance as required.
  • Overseeing facilities services, maintenance activities, and tradespersons.
  • Preparing monthly reports and assisting in presenting performance data to management.
  • Collaboration with managers and executives on various projects and tasks.
  • Engaging with security officers regularly.
  • Handling pension and provident fund submissions.
  • Providing UIF assistance, including drafting necessary documents.
  • Offering a comprehensive support function for the branch.
  • Acting as the primary correspondent between the branch and the corporate group.
