Position Details

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

Remuneration: R1,494,900 annual package (structured per Senior Management Service guidelines)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Social Sciences/Statistics or related field
  • 5+ years senior management experience in research/M&E systems
  • Certificate in Monitoring & Evaluation (advantageous)

  • Government M&E frameworks & statistical quality standards
  • Public Finance Management Act compliance
  • Strategic planning & policy formulation

Leadership Skills:

  • Advanced analytical & problem-solving capabilities
  • Strategic program management & stakeholder engagement
  • Performance monitoring & reporting systems development

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead departmental M&E strategy implementation
  2. Develop performance monitoring systems aligned with national frameworks
  3. Conduct impact assessments & program evaluations
  4. Manage cross-functional reporting and compliance processes
  5. Oversee team leadership and operational budgeting
