Salary: R255,450 – R300,912 per annum (Level 6)
Location: Mpumalanga – Medium Office, Mkobola

Requirements:

  • A qualification in public management, administration, business management, operations management, or a related field at NQF Level 6 (SAQA-recognized).
  • Prior cadetship or internship within the Department of Home Affairs will be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of civic services regulations, public service frameworks, and fraud prevention.
  • Understanding of Batho Pele principles.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Process civic service applications for births, marriages, deaths, citizenship, passports, and travel documents.
  • Ensure the security and accuracy of enabling documents.
  • Provide administrative support in the office.
  • Handle public inquiries and conduct online verifications.
  • Support the department’s digital transformation initiatives.
  • Implement governance procedures and compliance processes.
  • Maintain efficient resource management within the office.
  • Deliver prompt and professional customer service.
