Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate + qualification registerable with HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist.
  • Current HPCSA registration (2025) for Clinical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 2+ years’ Cardiac Clinical Technologist experience preferred.
  • Grade 1 Eligibility:
    – South African graduates: No post-registration experience required if community service completed.
    – International graduates: 1 year post-registration experience if community service completed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform adult and pediatric echocardiography (training provided).
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in cardiac services.
  • Support departmental operations and equipment maintenance.
