About the Role
We seek a qualified Construction Project Manager to oversee capital works projects in South Africa’s Eastern Cape province – a region offering diverse landscapes from coastal areas to mountainous terrain.
Position Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Matric)
- NQF Level 6-8 qualification in Built Environment Field:
- NHDiploma + 4.5 years experience
- BTech + 4 years management experience
- Honours Degree + 3 years experience
- Valid driver’s license
- SACPCMP Professional Construction PM registration
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
- Develop and manage project plans from initiation to completion
- Coordinate resources and team assignments
- Implement risk management strategies and quality standards
Financial Oversight:
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation
- Prepare progress reports for senior management
Operational Management:
- Coordinate tender processes with procurement teams
- Maintain records management systems
- Manage stakeholder communications
Professional Development:
- Stay updated on construction technology advancements
- Collaborate with industry regulatory bodies
