About the Role

We seek a qualified Construction Project Manager to oversee capital works projects in South Africa’s Eastern Cape province – a region offering diverse landscapes from coastal areas to mountainous terrain.

Position Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • NQF Level 6-8 qualification in Built Environment Field:
    • NHDiploma + 4.5 years experience
    • BTech + 4 years management experience
    • Honours Degree + 3 years experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • SACPCMP Professional Construction PM registration

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership:

  • Develop and manage project plans from initiation to completion
  • Coordinate resources and team assignments
  • Implement risk management strategies and quality standards

Financial Oversight:

  • Monitor project budgets and resource allocation
  • Prepare progress reports for senior management

Operational Management:

  • Coordinate tender processes with procurement teams
  • Maintain records management systems
  • Manage stakeholder communications

Professional Development:

  • Stay updated on construction technology advancements
  • Collaborate with industry regulatory bodies
