Qualifications and Skills Required

We are looking for an individual who meets the following requirements:

  • A recognized academic and professional qualification in education.
  • Proven experience in teaching isiZulu FAL.
  • Current registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
  • Familiarity with IEB curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • A clean criminal record.

Key Responsibilities

As an isiZulu FAL teacher at Curro Midrand Sagewood, you will be expected to:

  • Plan, assess, and report on student progress effectively.
  • Attend meetings, forums, and workshops as required by the school.
  • Foster a stimulating and disciplined learning environment.
  • Maintain responsibility for all school equipment and resources in your classroom.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Promote teaching and learning through well-structured lessons and activities.
  • Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, including sports and cultural events.
  • Support discipline and uphold the school’s values within your phase.
  • Assist with administrative and sports-related duties when needed.
  • Show personal dedication to education and contribute positively to the ethos of Curro Midrand Sagewood.
