Position Summary
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
Location: Gauteng
Experience: 4+ years (2 years at Assistant Director level)
Field: Project Management & Strategy
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Business/Project Management or related field
- 4 years’ experience in project management systems and methodologies
- Proven understanding of government operational policies and workflows
Core Responsibilities
Project Oversight
- Maintain national project register and tracking systems
- Develop executive dashboards for quarterly/annual reporting
- Monitor project alignment with budgets and schedules
- Conduct impact assessments of strategic initiatives
Strategic Planning
- Align departmental projects with Annual Performance Plan objectives
- Coordinate operational planning across divisions
- Integrate monitoring processes with reporting frameworks
Performance Reporting
- Prepare Audit Committee briefings
- Ensure compliance with knowledge management standards
- Verify data accuracy for management reports
Stakeholder Relations
- Develop project management frameworks
- Facilitate inter-departmental collaboration
- Conduct progress review sessions
