Position Details

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Built Environment
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Sector: Public Infrastructure & Project Management
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related Built Environment field
- Proven leadership experience in municipal/government environments
- Advanced knowledge of facility management best practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement city-wide facilities management strategy
- Oversee maintenance programs for municipal infrastructure
- Manage departmental budgeting and financial oversight
- Implement risk management protocols and safety standards
- Lead cross-departmental collaboration with city officials
- Establish performance metrics and quality controls
- Promote innovation in municipal asset management
