Position: Director – Health Promotion

Employment Type: Full Time

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Social/Health Sciences or Education
(Master’s degree preferred)

Experience Needed: 5+ years at Middle/Senior Management level

Location: Gauteng Province

Sector: Public Health & Education

Key Qualifications

  • Expertise in health promotion or public health initiatives
  • Understanding of school health programs and adolescent SRHR
  • Experience managing psychosocial support services for youth
  • Knowledge of HIV/TB prevention strategies in educational settings

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning for health promotion programs
  • Manage prevention initiatives for HIV, TB, and teenage pregnancy
  • Develop school-based sexual/reproductive health programs
  • Oversee psychosocial support services in schools
  • Coordinate with provincial departments and partner organizations
  • Monitor program effectiveness and resource allocation
