Required Qualifications
- Matric Certificate (Essential)
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF7) in Natural Sciences/Environmental Planning or related field
- Senior Management Pre-entry Programme certification from National School of Government
- Valid Driver’s License
Key Competencies
- Expertise in environmental legislation and impact management systems
- Proven track record in policy development and implementation
- Strong understanding of government planning/budgeting processes
- Experience in team leadership and capacity building
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic direction for environmental impact management programs
- Oversee implementation of environmental legislation and frameworks
- Develop monitoring systems for environmental compliance
- Enhance municipal environmental management capabilities
- Manage intergovernmental relations on environmental matters
