Job Overview
We are seeking Virtual Sales Consultants who will act as professional ambassadors for Discovery Connect. These consultants will play a crucial role in supporting clients post-product acquisition through virtual engagement, ensuring they receive world-class service and tailored solutions.
The role involves identifying sales opportunities among high-value Discovery Connect clients through proactive servicing and upsell campaigns. Consultants will conduct virtual client meetings via Zoom, perform holistic Financial Needs Analyses (FNAs), and drive sales across Discovery’s product portfolio. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their own schedules, appointments, and sales pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets through proactive sales and marketing efforts.
- Professionally manage high-net-worth clients, ensuring exceptional service.
- Conduct client communication via phone, email, and video calls.
- Perform Financial Needs Analyses and provide tailored financial solutions.
- Adhere to compliance requirements and maintain service quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance service offerings.
- Stay updated on competitor products, industry developments, and best practices.
- Address client queries efficiently and provide expert guidance.
Required Skills & Attributes

Qualifications & Experience
- Matric certificate required.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
- At least 1 year of product knowledge in Discovery Life, Health, Insure, Bank, and Invest.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- NQF5 and RE5 qualification required.
- COB qualification (Certificate of Banking) required.
Advantageous:
- Tertiary qualification, particularly in business or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of investment, life insurance, and financial planning.
- Experience in broker consulting within the financial services industry.
