Driver Assistant (Meridian Wine Distribution)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain punctuality to meet delivery deadlines.
• Verify daily handovers of goods from the warehouse to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
• Pack and transport deliveries according to schedules.
• Carry required documentation (tablet, delivery paperwork) before departing the warehouse.
• Deliver orders accurately and on time while maintaining positive customer interactions.
• Collect returns or defective items as specified in upliftment paperwork.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, operational, and report accidents/incidents immediately.
• Adhere to uniform and presentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Valid Code 10/14 driver’s license (advantageous).
