Forklift Driver

Job Key Information:

• Job Type: Full Time
• Qualification: Grade 12 or relevant qualification
• Experience: At least 2 years of forklift driving experience
• Location: Eastern Cape

Job Summary:

The purpose of this role is to efficiently move pallets of stock within different work areas, ensuring operations run smoothly according to instructions. The position requires operating a forklift to transport goods in and out of the work area.

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift License
• Fluency in Business English
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Willingness to work in extreme conditions

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift to move pallets of stock efficiently
• Transport stock to and from shelves (full pallets, cases, or units)
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations
• Inspect forklift thoroughly during sign-in and sign-out
• Report damages promptly
• Deliver completed pallets to the loading bay
• Adhere to housekeeping rules
• Assist with stock counts when required
