Job Description
We are looking for 4 skilled drivers who are team players, deadline-driven, and have good communication skills. The successful candidates will transport human remains to AVBOB agencies across South Africa and neighboring countries. You will join a well-established company with a strong commitment to employee development and performance recognition.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive long distances to deliver human remains to specified locations
- Ensure timely and accurate collection and transportation of remains
- Maintain vehicle logbooks and trip sheets
- Inspect vehicles before trips and report any issues
- Keep vehicles clean and in good condition
- Adhere to road and cross-border regulations
- Maintain a positive company image and ensure excellent service delivery
Requirements
- Matric qualification
- Valid driver’s license and Public Driver Permit
- At least 3 years of long-distance driving experience
- Experience in the funeral service industry is an advantage
- Strong driving skills, teamwork, and communication abilities
- Focus on service excellence and meeting deadlines
