We are currently looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg North. This role presents an excellent opportunity to make an impact through revenue growth, client acquisition, and relationship management in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth & Sales Targets:

  • Achieving Sales Quotas: Meet or exceed set sales targets (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) in terms of revenue and the number of accounts closed.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell to existing clients or cross-sell additional products and services to maximize revenue.
  • New Business Acquisition: Secure new clients through proactive cold calling, networking, and relationship-building efforts to expand the client base.

Client Retention & Satisfaction:

  • Client Retention: Ensure high client retention rates by providing exceptional service, value, and follow-through to encourage contract renewals and long-term business relationships.
  • Increasing Customer Satisfaction: Regularly engage with clients to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure their needs are being met, ultimately fostering customer loyalty and advocacy.

Strategic Account Planning:

  • Strategic Account Plans: Develop and execute tailored account plans for key clients, identifying opportunities for growth, strengthening relationships, and mitigating potential risks.
  • Account Reviews: Conduct regular quarterly or bi-annual reviews with clients to assess account performance, address any issues, and explore future growth opportunities.

Operational Efficiency & Reporting:

  • Accurate Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records of all client communications, opportunities, and pipeline activities. Ensure a healthy pipeline with a coverage ratio of three times the monthly target.
  • Time Management: Prioritize and manage accounts effectively to ensure timely follow-ups and avoid missed sales opportunities.

Stakeholder Liaison:

  • Collaboration Across Departments: Work closely with Marketing, Technical, Creative Solutions, and Programming teams to provide clients with well-rounded solutions that address their needs.
  • Team Contribution: Share insights, best practices, and knowledge with the team to enhance overall sales performance and team success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: National Senior Certificate (essential); a Diploma in Sales is recommended.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in Sales, Advertising, or Broadcasting is essential.
  • Licensing: A valid driver’s license (Code EB) and an articulated motor vehicle license are required.
  • Technology Proficiency: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Language Skills: Intermediate proficiency in English.
