Essential Qualifications
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Valid Section 13/Section 26(D) Trade Test Certification
- Code B, EB or C1 driver’s license
- Reliable transportation for emergency call-outs
Required Experience & Skills
- 2-3 years’ experience as qualified Fitter in mineral processing or similar environment
- Proficient in English communication
- Strong time management capabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial equipment to specified standards
- Conduct safety inspections per Mine Health and Safety regulations
- Design and install mechanical systems for operational efficiency
- Ensure equipment safety and functionality post-maintenance
- Monitor equipment performance for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with production teams on maintenance planning
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
