Job Purpose

Provide technical expertise and engineering solutions to address infrastructure challenges, with a focus on road systems and transport networks.

Minimum Requirements

  • B Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • 3+ years post-qualification experience
  • ECSA registration as Engineering Technologist (mandatory)
  • Valid Code B driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in public sector road infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of road reserve services and traffic impact assessments
  • Additional certifications in transport planning/design
  • Familiarity with multi-disciplinary engineering projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advisory support for engineering projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Update technical documentation with new technologies
  • Conduct research to improve engineering practices
  • Prepare reports and contribute to operational planning
  • Manage technical databases and stakeholder communications
