Core Requirements:

• Physical capability to lift patients/equipment (up to 12 hrs/day)
• Comfort working with medical waste, bodily fluids, and deceased persons
• Availability for shift work including nights/weekends/holidays
• Basic equipment operation skills (lawn care tools, cleaning machines)

Essential Skills:

• Understanding of healthcare safety standards
• Effective communication abilities
• Waste management knowledge

Primary Responsibilities:

Patient Support (Porter):

• Transport patients via wheelchair/stretcher
• Manage corpse transfers to mortuary
• Maintain patient transport equipment

Linen Services (Laundry Aid):

• Track linen inventory
• Handle sanitization processes
• Maintain laundry facility cleanliness

Mortuary Operations:

• Corpse storage/retrieval
• Maintain cold storage units
• Document management

Facility Maintenance:

• Sanitation services
• Waste disposal
• General cleaning duties
