eNCA is seeking a talented Motion Graphic Designer to join our creative team in JHB North. This exciting role requires a creative individual with strong design skills, capable of creating visually appealing graphics for both on-air and online/social media platforms.

As a Motion Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for producing accurate and engaging graphics that align with the channel’s style guide while contributing fresh ideas for new and ongoing projects. You’ll have the opportunity to conceptualize and implement original designs that bring stories and shows to life, ensuring your work resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Creation of Graphics:

• Work closely with the Output team to create graphics based on specific requests.
• Ensure all graphics align with the channel’s established style guide.
• Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion, managing creative input and final delivery.
• Pitch new graphic ideas for story analysis and upcoming shows, incorporating creative elements that elevate the content.
• Double-check all graphics for accuracy and quality before they are published across on-air and online platforms.

Creative Conceptualization and Innovation:

• Design original and innovative graphics using available tools, meeting tight deadlines.
• Understand project briefs and creatively fulfill requirements with attention to detail.
• Proactively propose and design new concepts or enhance existing graphics to keep the content fresh and engaging.
• Ability to present and sell your graphic ideas, ensuring they align with the vision of the team and channel.
• Prepare ahead for upcoming events, ensuring the creation of high-quality graphics in advance.
• Collaborate with a team to design graphics for live events, ensuring cohesive and visually appealing outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: National Diploma in Motion Graphic Design (essential).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in graphic design, with at least 1 year of coding experience.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to continually learn and innovate.
• Language: Advanced proficiency in English.
• Technology Proficiency: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Key Competencies: Accuracy, creativity, teamwork, innovation, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
