The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is committed to ensuring road users receive proper coverage and support in the event of motor vehicle accidents. As part of its mission, RAF is seeking a Specialist: Business Relationship Management to join its Strategy and Transformation Division in Centurion, Gauteng. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of R891,176.00 per annum and is part of RAF’s Employment Equity initiatives, with a focus on candidates with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Relationship Management Specialist, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in strengthening the relationship between ICT and business to drive efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment.
1. ICT Relationship Management
- Act as the primary liaison between ICT and business units, ensuring smooth collaboration.
- Negotiate and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maximize value for the organization.
- Research and implement improved requirements-gathering processes for technology solutions.
- Provide support for systems integration, ensuring interoperability between different solutions.
- Stay updated on technology trends to propose innovative solutions aligned with RAF’s goals.
2. Service Catalogue Management
- Maintain the BRM service portfolio and oversee operations of the Technology & Digital service catalogue.
- Optimize the use of existing technology solutions to enhance business operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to track and report service performance using input from operations.
3. Policy & Governance Compliance
- Work closely with the architecture team to ensure ICT solutions align with the organization’s vision.
- Ensure solutions are fully integrated into RAF’s enterprise architecture and meet governance standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ICT policies, procedures, and standards.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular SLA reviews and ensure transparency in progress reporting.
- Report on roadmap implementation and escalate any challenges affecting service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in ICT Relationship Management or a related environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage end-to-end ICT solution implementation.
