Are you looking for a hands-on role in the warehouse and logistics industry? Parts Incorporated Africa is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Worker to join their Port Elizabeth branch. This position involves essential warehouse duties, ensuring efficiency in stock management, order fulfillment, and overall operations.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Stock Handling & Binning

• Properly bin incoming stock and replenish inventory following standard operating procedures.
• Allocate new products to designated bin locations and update warehouse records accordingly.
• Maintain accurate stock allocation and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist in inventory replenishment to keep operations running smoothly.

🔹 Order Picking & Packing

• Pick customer and branch orders within set timeframes to meet order deadlines.
• Ensure that stock is only picked from bulk locations when required to prevent stock shortages.
• Maintain accuracy in picking and packing to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Participate in regular stock take procedures.

🔹 Quality Control & Housekeeping

• Perform double checks on orders to maintain accuracy and prevent stock loss.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis.
• Adhere to standard operational targets to ensure smooth workflow.

🔹 Scanner Management

• Issue scanners to warehouse staff daily and log usage on the electronic system.
• Inspect returned scanners for any damage and report issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate scanner records on a daily spreadsheet.

Minimum Requirements:

✔ Education: Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeracy skills.
✔ Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred).
✔ Knowledge of warehouse procedures, spares, and motor/engine parts is advantageous.
