Hyundai Boksburg is seeking a qualified and experienced Service Advisor to join their team. This permanent role is pivotal in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while driving service sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer interactions, maximizing service sales, and ensuring the smooth operation of service-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize professional sales techniques to maximize service sales.
- Maintain the security of cash transactions throughout the day.
- Provide expert and courteous customer service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Accurately record customer details, service history, and vehicle information through job cards.
- Conduct a physical inspection of vehicles with customers, noting any damages and recording mileage.
- Perform daily follow-ups with customers to keep them updated on their vehicle’s progress.
- Ensure that all jobs are completed and payment is verified before releasing vehicles.
- Adhere to the company’s quoting policy, ensuring all costs are correctly documented and customers are informed of any additional work required.
- Manage deposits for jobs exceeding R5,000, ensuring a minimum of 50% deposit is taken.
- Complete and ensure all necessary documentation, including CPA documents and repair waivers, are accurately filled out and signed.
- Maintain an up-to-date filing system and ensure warranty job cards are handled according to procedure.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with dealership policies, costing procedures, and customer service best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage a high volume of service inquiries.
