What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
✔ A Recognised Teaching Qualification – A relevant academic and professional qualification in education.
✔ Experience in Teaching Mathematics – Proven expertise in teaching Maths at the Intermediate Phase.
✔ SACE Registration – A valid South African Council for Educators (SACE) membership.
✔ IEB Experience – Familiarity with IEB curriculum standards and assessments.
✔ A Clear Criminal Record – Ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
📌 Plan & Deliver Engaging Lessons – Create dynamic, interactive, and structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
📌 Monitor & Assess Learner Progress – Record and report on student performance and assessments.
📌 Foster a Positive Learning Atmosphere – Establish an inclusive, encouraging, and disciplined classroom environment.
📌 Collaborate with Colleagues – Work closely with other teachers and school leadership to ensure curriculum effectiveness.
📌 Extracurricular Involvement – Assist in sports, cultural activities, and school events to enhance student engagement.
📌 Administrative & Professional Duties – Attend meetings, workshops, and forums to stay updated on teaching best practices.
