Job Description

• Ensure timely delivery of products within allocated time slots.
• Conduct deliveries safely and adhere to all regulations.
• Follow public traffic rules and CIE regulations, maintaining a speed limit of 80 km/h.
• Verify explosives seals and ensure they match delivery documents.
• Complete and sign delivery documentation, obtaining customer signatures where required.
• Assist customers with offloading products from the vehicle.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete inspection sheets.
• Ensure the vehicle license and explosives Operator card are valid.
• Check that fire extinguishers are compliant.
• Return proof of delivery to the Administration office for invoicing.

Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid Code 14 driver’s license with category “D” Professional Driving Permit.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in a supply chain explosives environment.
• Proven experience in handling explosives and emergency processes (Hazchem).
