Objective of the Role:
Fidelity Secure Drive is seeking a dedicated Fitment Quality Inspector to oversee the quality management and resolution of customer-related issues. The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure the highest standards of fitment and quality within the organization, maintaining customer satisfaction. The position plays a crucial part in safeguarding Fidelity Secure Drive’s reputation by resolving fitment-related concerns and delivering superior service, technology, and information to our clients and partners. Upholding our commitment to exceeding client expectations is a vital aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain all allocated resources, ensuring that vehicles, tools, stock, and uniforms meet the required standards.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness, address traffic violations, and confirm roadworthiness.
- Safeguard tools and manage stock, conducting regular stock takes and addressing any discrepancies.
- Ensure uniforms comply with PSIRA guidelines and are clean and presentable.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and support to technicians when necessary.
- Address and resolve client complaints effectively, offering both onsite and remote support.
- Handle technical queries and assist with the installation of vehicle tracking systems and repairs.
- Ensure that fitments are completed to the highest standards, within designated timelines.
- Implement new fitment techniques in line with OEM fitment guidelines.
- Assist in technical evaluations and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with personal hygiene and company uniform standards as outlined by PSIRA.
- Familiarize yourself with company policies and adhere to them at all times.
- Pursue ongoing skill development and provide detailed feedback to internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
- Valid Code B driver’s license.
- Clear criminal record.
- PSIRA Grade C certification.
- A trade test qualification in motor electrical electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Auto-electrical qualification is advantageous.
- A minimum of 6-10 years of experience in the installation of vehicle tracking systems.
