Position: Floor Assistant – Bloemfontein

Employment Type: Full Time

Required Qualifications: Matric/Grade 12 (NSC). Tertiary qualifications are advantageous.

Experience: 2-3 years in retail or customer-facing roles

Location: Bloemfontein, Free State

Role Overview

We seek a proactive Floor Assistant to enhance customer experiences and support daily operations in our retail environment. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement:
    • Greet customers and provide knowledgeable product guidance
    • Resolve inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Sales Support:
    • Assist in achieving store sales targets
    • Maintain attractive product displays and organized merchandising
  • Stock Management:
    • Receive and organize inventory shipments
    • Conduct stock audits and maintain accurate pricing
  • Store Maintenance:
    • Ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety standards

Essential Requirements

  • Proven 2-3 years’ retail experience
  • Computer literacy (MS Office/inventory systems)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
