Job Summary
We seek a qualified Forensic Consultant to strengthen fraud prevention initiatives. This role requires occasional travel across the Western Cape and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop fraud detection/prevention strategies and policy implementation
- Support Anti-Corruption Strategy execution across 13 provincial departments
- Conduct fraud awareness training and data analytics projects
- Facilitate departmental fraud risk assessments
- Monitor progress of fraud prevention plans
Essential Requirements
- 3-year degree in Law, Commerce, Auditing or Forensics
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license (Code B+) or reliable transport alternatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in related field
- Professional certification (CFE/CFP)
- Experience in public sector fraud risk management
Key Competencies
Technical Knowledge:
- Government legislation/policy frameworks
- Fraud risk assessment methodologies
- Data analysis and visualization techniques
Core Skills:
- Advanced MS Office proficiency
- Strong written/verbal communication
- Collaborative team player
