Job Summary

We seek a qualified Forensic Consultant to strengthen fraud prevention initiatives. This role requires occasional travel across the Western Cape and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop fraud detection/prevention strategies and policy implementation
  • Support Anti-Corruption Strategy execution across 13 provincial departments
  • Conduct fraud awareness training and data analytics projects
  • Facilitate departmental fraud risk assessments
  • Monitor progress of fraud prevention plans

Essential Requirements

  • 3-year degree in Law, Commerce, Auditing or Forensics
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Valid driver’s license (Code B+) or reliable transport alternatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification in related field
  • Professional certification (CFE/CFP)
  • Experience in public sector fraud risk management

  • Government legislation/policy frameworks
  • Fraud risk assessment methodologies
  • Data analysis and visualization techniques

Core Skills:

  • Advanced MS Office proficiency
  • Strong written/verbal communication
  • Collaborative team player
