Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Communication

• Develop engaging content for alumni newsletters, blogs, and social media platforms.
• Write alumni success stories and testimonials, capturing the achievements of former students.
• Assist in drafting press releases and media statements, ensuring that the IIE Rosebank College brand remains consistent.

Event Support & Alumni Engagement

• Assist in organizing alumni networking events, workshops, and career fairs to maintain strong connections.
• Coordinate event logistics including invitations and post-event follow-ups.
• Engage with alumni members to foster lasting relationships and encourage future involvement.

Professional Development & Learning

• Gain hands-on experience in marketing and public relations within an academic institution.
• Attend training sessions and industry events to expand your skills and knowledge.
• Work closely with Career Center Coordinators to support career development initiatives for students and alumni.

Administration & Alumni Queries

• Provide administrative support in handling alumni queries via email, phone, and social media.
• Maintain and update the alumni database with the latest information.
• Assist in drafting reports related to alumni engagement, ensuring accurate tracking of activities and interactions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum: 3-year Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or similar fields.
• Advantageous: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or similar.
• No prior experience is necessary, as this is an internship role designed for those eager to learn and grow.
