Gauteng Office of the Premier

The Gauteng Office of the Premier is offering an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to join the Transformation Unit Internship Programme. This 24-month programme is designed to provide invaluable work experience in areas such as social sciences, research, and event management. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
  • South African citizenship and residency in Gauteng are required.
  • A National Diploma, BA Degree, B Tech, Honours, or Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Event Management, or Research.
  • Applicants should be unemployed graduates who have not participated in a previous government internship programme.
  • Applicants must have completed their academic studies and need practical work experience to complete their qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interns will be assigned various tasks related to the Transformation Unit to support the department’s objectives and gain professional experience. These tasks may involve event planning, research, and social science-related projects.

  • A completed Z83 form (available on the DPSA website).
  • A motivation letter with your preferred placement area.
  • A detailed CV.
  • Certified copies of your identity document, senior certificate, qualifications, and academic transcript.
