Position Details
Employment Type: Full-time Permanent
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Property Studies/Real Estate
Preferred: Postgraduate Business/Public Management qualification
Experience: 8+ years in property management (4+ at senior level)
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic housing management plans aligned with organizational goals
- Implement risk management strategies for housing operations
- Oversee rental portfolio management and tenant relations
- Manage property maintenance programs and service provider contracts
- Lead tenant onboarding and housing stock commissioning processes
- Supervise multi-disciplinary teams and departmental budgets
Essential Requirements
- Proven track record in large-scale rental property management
- Knowledge of social housing policies and MFMA regulations
- Experience in municipal/Social Housing Sector (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license and clear criminal record
