MIBCO is a Bargaining Council dedicated to maintaining industrial peace and stability in the Motor Industry. We are seeking a reliable Handyman/Driver to join our team in the Western Cape.

• Qualification: Matric
• Experience: 7 – 10 years

• Job Field: Engineering/Technical

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and MIBCO standards
• Maintain buildings and office equipment daily
• Perform preventive maintenance as per the plan
• Respond efficiently to complaints and queries
• Handle administrative tasks and correspondence
• Maintain work order records and paperwork
• Liaise with service providers for required services
• Ensure work areas are clean and tidy after maintenance
• Manage stock levels of consumables and tools
• Maintain the storeroom
• Handle post collection and distribution
• Maintain company pool vehicles
• Assist with other tasks as instructed

Qualifications:

• Basic English literacy (read and write)
• Matric with relevant experience
• Recognized prior learning in handyman work
• Handyman Course Certificate (advantageous)
• Experience in electrical and plumbing maintenance
• Relevant trade qualification (advantageous)
• Basic computer skills
• Valid Driver’s License
