    • 3-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Social History, Archaeology, or related field

Key Responsibilities

  • Process heritage resource applications under National Heritage Resources Act (NHRA 25/1999)
  • Provide expert guidance on archaeology/paleontology-related applications and appeals
  • Monitor compliance with heritage conservation policies
  • Manage provincial heritage conservation services for development applications
  • Coordinate committee secretariat functions

Essential Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in relevant field
  • Understanding of heritage legislation and policies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Project management experience
  • Conflict resolution skills
