Position Purpose

Deliver professional heritage resource management services in compliance with national legislation.

Requirements

  • 3-year National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or higher in:
    Architecture, History, Art History, Town Planning, Engineering,

    Building Sciences, Social History, Archaeology, or related field
  • Valid Code B driving license (or higher)
    Note: Applicants with disabilities affecting driving ability may apply if alternative transport is available

Key Responsibilities

  • Process heritage permit applications and impact assessments
  • Develop heritage resource protection proposals
  • Monitor compliance with heritage legislation
  • Provide technical guidance on heritage matters
  • Support interdepartmental heritage initiatives
