Hyundai East Rand is looking for a Commercial Sales Executive to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven and ambitious sales professional to play a crucial role in expanding our business within the commercial vehicle sector. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Conduct thorough research and prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
- Source new leads and establish connections with potential customers in the commercial vehicle sector.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Cultivate and maintain working relationships with truck bodybuilders to enhance service delivery and ensure they are OEM approved.
Administrative Duties
- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate sales records and updating customer databases.
- Ensure that all documentation, including sales contracts and vehicle orders, is processed according to company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Current Employment: Must be employed as a Commercial Sales Executive with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated track record in sales, especially through networking and cold calling.
- Driverβs License: A valid South African Code 10 driverβs license (or higher) is essential.
- Education:
- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent is a must.
- A tertiary qualification related to the position would be advantageous.
Skills & Personal Attributes
- Commercial Vehicle Knowledge: Familiarity with the latest ranges in commercial models is essential.
- Networking & Negotiation: Strong ability to source new business and negotiate deals effectively.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of vehicle financing, financial statements, and tax implications.
- Licensing Expertise: Knowledge of special license requirements and registration processes.
- Relationship Building: Ability to develop lasting connections with truck body builders and key industry stakeholders.
