Are you a seasoned Commercial Sales Executive with a knack for building strong client relationships and generating new business? Hyundai Sandton is looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join their team as a Commercial Sales Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is driven, proactive, and has a passion for sales and the automotive industry.

As a Commercial Sales Executive, your role will primarily focus on prospecting new business, negotiating sales contracts, and managing customer relationships. You will also work closely with truck bodybuilders to ensure their OEM approvals, playing an integral role in the growth and success of the commercial vehicle sales department.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Conduct research and prospect new business opportunities within the commercial vehicle market.
  • Identify potential clients, generate leads, and build long-term business relationships.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring that all customer requirements and expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with truck bodybuilders, ensuring that they are OEM approved for product quality standards.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales and expand Hyundai Sandton’s commercial vehicle offerings.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and administrative duties.
  • Handle vehicle registrations, licensing processes, and all other documentation related to sales contracts.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Current Employment: At least 2 years of experience as a Commercial Sales Executive.
  • Sales Success: A proven sales track record, with experience in networking and cold calling.
  • Driver’s License: A valid South African Code 10 driver’s license (or higher).
  • Education:
    • Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
    • A tertiary qualification related to the position is an added advantage.

Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Commercial Vehicle Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the latest commercial vehicle models and their features.
  • Networking & Negotiation: Strong networking and negotiation skills to develop and nurture business relationships.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and tax implications related to sales.
  • Licensing & Registration: Knowledge of special licensing and vehicle registration processes is a plus.
  • Self-Starter: Strong ability to work independently, set priorities, and achieve business goals.
