Role Overview:

As an Internal Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to drive new sales opportunities and contribute to the overall success of our sales team. You will play a crucial role in engaging with both existing and new customers through inbound follow-ups and outbound cold calls and emails. Additionally, you’ll be tasked with understanding customer needs, providing quotes, and assisting with the development of qualified sales opportunities. This role will require an individual who is comfortable with high call volumes and is skilled at closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and follow-up on inbound leads.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to offer tailored solutions.
  • Prepare quotes and cost estimates for clients.
  • Open sales order files as needed to track sales progress.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales consultants for further development.
  • Close sales and meet daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets.
  • Research client accounts, identify key decision-makers, and spark interest in our products and services.
  • Maintain and expand a database of prospective clients within your sales scope.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build pipelines and close deals.
  • Engage in online discussions about products and services to effectively convey the value we offer.

Ideal Candidate:

To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record in internal sales, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets. You should be comfortable making dozens of calls each day and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong listening and presentation skills are key, as well as the ability to multitask and manage your time effectively.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in internal sales with a history of overachieving sales targets.
  • Strong phone presence and ability to handle a high volume of calls.
  • Proficiency in corporate productivity tools and web presentations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems to manage and track sales activity.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • A working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
  • A valid vehicle license and access to your own vehicle.
